OCTOBER 07 - MELODROME SO STICKY TOUR
Wow. What a wild ride it was. 4 dewds, one red minivan, a gps unit named shaniqua and 7000 miles. Did I mention gobs of fresh rock? Thanks so much for all your support out on the road: Joe and Christine Fletcher for inviting us to play at the Monterey Music Summit, Justin Mather for offering his crib to us outside of Las Vegas, Eric Ernie, Tom and Laroy for setting up the recording session at Studio City Sound, Norm and Beth for putting us up in LA, Casey for sneaking us in the back door of the Monterey Aquarium, Justin for being a drunk fuck pretending to work for Monterey Peninsula (we love you anyway, haha). We especially want to thank Julie and Richard for lending us their van for the road and Jason for coming along for the ride, helping with driving and loading. Last but not least we would like to thank all the fans, new and old, that came out at unexpectd times to rock with us. We love you all!! Robby, Jesko and Otto

Carol Emanuel recorded 3 tracks with Tony Levin (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel, John Lennon, Paul Simon, David Bowie) on Bass and Stick and Jerry Marotta (Peter Gabriel, Sarah McLachlan, John Mayer) on drums. Carol is a classically trained Harpist who started writing songs over the past couple of years. We have been writing together, finishing the songs and then went to Jerry's place in Woodstock to record the basic tracks. Then we did some dubs here at SubStation. As a producer and fan it was great to work with Tony and Jerry. If you don't know who they are please click on their names above and read about their incredible accomplishments.

After an expensive invasion by a rackoon Frank has wrestled control of his studio back from the wild and has been working with me on some projects. Ex Pearls At Swine bassist and local bass hero John Suters has been working on a collection of original classical guitar pieces. In April he started tracking some of these at the studio with Robby. GRAHAM ISAACSON
Robby cruised up to Portland ME to record 12(!) demo tracks in 2 days in G's pad. Graham is still being hounded by the majors who are out looking for "the hit". We went through my song catalog and picked the cream of the crop for Graham to record. The old tracks sound great with his rumbly voice. From SoulTube we took Whiskey Whiskey, Warning Signs, Room in my Chevy and In My Car. From Melodrome's catalog we lifted Crush, Love Replaces Love, Chasing, Not To Love You, Crying is Done, Sex Cash and Fuel to name a few. We also took an old Pearls At Swine track called Don't Look Away, one of my favorite Pearls tracks.

BEN HILLMAN
Ben came in with a great film voice over project about Mitchell Lawrence, the 18 year old kid from Great Barrington who was sentenced to two years in jail for selling a teaspoonful of marijuana to an undercover police officer for $20. The FIlm is about raising awareness for the Drug Policy Alliance and will be featured on their web site shortly.
